MAY BAYAD PO ANG BATA

Noong bata pa ako, sa tuwing kasama ko ang aking nanay, hindi niya ako kinakandong at  nagbabayad siya para sa akin. Minsan nga, dahil punuan ang jeep, biglang nagsalita ang driver.

Manong: Pakikandong po yung bata para makaupo po yung ibang pasahero.

Aba, biglang react ang nanay ko: May bayad po yung bata.

Hmmm… Alam ninyo, ang sarap ng pakiramdam ng bayad ka, lalo na kapag may nagpapahalaga sa’yo. Tulad ng pagmamahal at pagkalinga ng nanay ko sa akin sa simpleng eksenang ito.

Mga kaibigan, mahalaga ang susunod na henerasyon at dapat ngayon pa lang nagbibigay na tayo ng pagpapahalaga sa kanila. Kahit sila’y bata pa, may boses at may kakayahan silang makatulong sa ating lahat.

Ang tanging kailangan nila ay ang ating atensyon, pag-ibig at pagtitiwala.

Mga kabataan, tara na! Simulan na ang rebolusyon ng pagmamahalan at kabutihang-loob.
